Say hello to Zao-oo, my protogen. I loved primagens, so the moment I heard about protogens I leapt on the chance to make one.


Backstory: Zao-oo was the first of the Zao model of combat-oriented protogens, with the designation of 00. She has sense rebelled against her design, and reclaimed her designation into being a proper name (oo is pronounced ooh, as in 'ooh, cake!') As a special feature, she was given a special subdermal surgery upon her ears, replacing the cartilage with metal, and a small radio sensor/emitter implanted, giving her the ability to sense radio signals and the benefits of a short-range radar system, as well as a coprocessing unit to utilize it. Her ears are otherwise normal and biological as any other critter's ears, and are very expressive (capable of rotating a great deal, allowing her to use the radar in any direction)


Although she is no longer in service to her original programming, she does hire herself as a mercenary if the price is right. When not acting as a mercenary, she is a musician. She is nonetheless still quite dangerous and has lost none of her touch. Her preferred weapons are a pair of 'recovered' (read: stolen) Star Z-84 SMGs.


In terms of personality, she is a very serious and almost humorless individual; very no-nonsense and to-the-point. She fancies herself a particularly mature protogen and for most people that is indeed all you would see. A few individuals can coax her into a more relaxed mood, but such is uncommon even then. She is somewhat amoral toward non-proto/primagens, and will take advantage of weakness of any sort in other species if she senses some gain to be had; she is not outright malicious however and won't betray those that have proven their worth to her.
